These Professions Are Most Likely To Have Sex At Their Work Christmas Parties

With all that booze involved, we’ve all been known to go a bit south at our work Christmas party. But science has now discovered that it’s the people in IT, legal and HR that are more likely to get drunk and have sex at their party than the rest of us. So next time you find yourself next to Chris the almost-fit-if-you-squint IT guy at the bar, just watch out, that’s all we’re saying.

The data comes after Ann Summers conducted a survey of over 2,000 adults, in which 39% of respondents admitted to having sex at their office parties. Another 54% admitted to snogging a colleague, with 10% confessing to kissing their boss.

But those who work in health and education are less likely to do something they’ll regret the next morning. Oh, and the most common location for Christmas party sex? The car park, apparently.

A spokesperson for Ann Summer told the Metro, ‘You spend so much time with your colleagues at work that it’s easy to fall for them, so the Christmas party is the perfect time to get rid of that sexual tension.’
