Prince George Arrives At The Lindo Wing To Meet His Sister For The First Time

Prince George has arrived at the Lindo Wing to meet his baby sister for the first time. Prince William drove to Kensington Palace to pick up his son, and then returned shortly afterwards having a cuddle in front of the photographers.

Now first things first, George looked smart in a matching blue jumper to his Dad's, white collar, blue shorts, blue knitted long socks and black pumps. Adorable!

Prince George tried to walk himself but after a few uneasy steps, Prince William picked him up and carried him. William enouraged George to wave to the photographers and crowds, before he kissed his head and led him through the Lindo Wing doors meet his sister.

It is often custom that when mothers are introducing their newborn to their new sibling they give them a gift from the baby. So we wonder what Princess Cambridge will give George as a little present.

George wore a pair of Rachel Riley shorts and shirt co-rd which are currently still available to buy for any, err, copy Georges out there.

This moment resembled the images of Prince William walking up those very steps at the Lindo Wing to meet Prince Harry for the first time with his father Charles.

Kate and William arrived at St Mary's Hospital at 6am this morning by car, with Kate in the early stages of labour. It was a quick labour as their daughter was delivered two and a half hours later at 8.34am. Prince William said to the press outside of the hospital that he was 'very, very happy.'

News of the birth was then announced on Twitter just after 11am and then in keeping with tradition, an easel was then placed outside Buckingham Palace confirming news and details of the birth.
