Monday Blues? Meet Polly The Rescue Goats Whose Anxiety Only Goes Away When She's Wearing Her Duck Costume

Everyone, meet Polly the goat. Dear baby Polly is a rescue goat who currently lives in a group of goats called Goats of Anarchy, run by Leanne Lauricella in New Jersey.

Polly isn’t your average goat, she suffers from serious health issues such as blindness and neurological problems, she also struggles with being alone and has anxiety. So yes, she’s a special goat that needs all your love and attention, immediately.

When her owner, Leanne was hunting around for Halloween, she came across a child’s duck costume she thought would be perfect for little Polly. Polly popped on that costume and it was love at first sight, and not only because the picture of her wearing it is the cutest thing you’ll see all week.

Whenever she feels anxious, the costume calms her down immediately, and according to Leanne no other item of clothing has had the same effect on her. Even baby blankets couldn’t work their magic on Polly. Leanne even stated that whenever Polly has an anxiety attack she puts the costume on and instantly goes to sleep. They also go food shopping together, with the costume on obviously. Now if that doesn't banish your Monday bad mood then you need a serious reality check. We're saving a picture of Pol as our screen saver and it will stay there for the foreseeable future.

If you're having a REALLY bad day, we also highly reccomend going on the Goats of Anarchy Instagram page for more adorable pictures of baby goats, and while you're at it go support them on their Just Giving page here.
