I know what you’re probably thinking right now. Another Pokémon GO story? What else can they do with it? Well.. we already had PokeMobiles, Olympic Gymnast paying 5000$ phone bill because of playing this quite addictive game.
Next up, Pokémon GO contact lenses c0uld become a reality. Maybe.
It's definitely on the wish list for John Hanke, chief executive of Niantic Labs which created Pokémon Go. Speaking on stage at a gaming conference in Rancho Palos Verdes, he told the LA Times that he thought smart glasses and eventually contact lenses could be used to play the game. 'I'm a science-fiction fan so I want the contact lenses that transform everything into whatever kind of themed world I want it to be.
'I think a lot of people see that archetype as something that we'd like to have and it's probably going to get created within our lifetime and I'm very much looking forward to it.'
Idea is that Pokémon Contact Lenses would make you see characters, Poke Stops and gyms as they if they were real, just next to you, without having to get your phone out. Great idea or totally terrifying? We can't decide...
