Nicky Hilton married British banking heir James Rothschild at the Kensington Palace Orangery in London on Friday, and as you can guess from the lavish venue, it was nothing short of a fairytale. There to capture each and every detail were siblings Paris and Barron who revealed all via Instagram.

The bride wore a custom-made high-neck, long-sleeve Valentino Haute Couture gown with a dramatic train and equally long veil worth £50,000. The venue was packed with flower arrangements and arches, and the bride held a bouquet of white roses.

But like all good weddings, it didn't go without a glitch - when exiting the church after saying her vows, Nicky's veil got caught under a Bentley parked outside the venue. We rekcon the couple will have earned a few years good luck as a result of that mishap.

The wedding was attended by guests including Kate Beckinsale and Petra Ecclestone ( Nicky and James met at her wedding in 2014). Nicky's dad Richard walked her down the aisle and sister Paris played bridesmaid in a powder-blue gown with a Swarovski-detail waistband.

The celebrations kicked off on Thursday night with a cocktail party at Spencer House. The big day began with a rehearsal at 11am, with the ceremony taking place at 6pm that evening, followed by wedding breakfast at the Lawn Marquee and dancing at the Orangery.

Paris took us inside the pre-wedding prep with close-ups of her sister's custommade Louboutin heels - embroidered with her wedding day and married name, and also revealed photos of the hen party's dressing gowns. She also showed off a snap of Nicky and James's heart-topped wedding cake, captioned: "So happy that my sister found the man of her dreams. Once in awhile, right in the middle of an ordinary life, love gives us a fairy tale."

Meanwhile Barron revealed the rose detail place settings and a stunning photo of Nicky standing outside the venue. "Words cannot describe how happy I am for my sister," Barron wrote in the caption. "She found the love of her life and a man that I am truly proud to call my brother in law. Love you both."
