Have you ever heard the term ‘fuck her right in the pussy’? No? Good, you don’t spend too much time on the internet. If you do, well, you might have read about it on The Debrief before.
Basically, it’s a meme started off by this guy who wanted to make a fake news report where a presenter is caught saying, ‘Fuck her right in the pussy’ about a missing woman.
The video went viral, and a lot of blokes’ response to it has been to go as close to the camera as possible when they see a female newscaster, and yell ‘Fuck her right in the pussy.’ Not only is it gross but it’s never done to male reporters (making it clear-cut sexist) and in some jurisdictions, it constitutes harassment.
But people still keep on doing it. Like this dweeb who thought his contribution to BBC London’s newscast from outside Wimbledon station should be to yell ‘Fuck her right in the pussy’ behind presenter Alice Bhandhukravi.
Alice held it together, continuing her report, but it was clear she heard what was going on. Later, someone tweeted her asking who the guy was, and she replied:
Since when did it become OK for men to shout obscenities at women on the street? The double fuckery of this is that he’s doing it on live TV where it’s instantaneously reported to a larger audience than he could ever manage on his own. His face is there, he’s accountable, yet he just doesn’t give a crap.
While trawling Wimbledon for nerdy tossers to find this prick isn’t a pastime we’d like to, say, get the police doing, they probably should. If only to give him a telling off and explain how serious harassment is.
Plus, if this guy can get away with harassing a woman on TV, what can other people get away with away from the cameras?
Ofcom informed The Debrief that there have been no complaints about the video. Meanwhile there have been, to date, 400 complaints about Rita Ora’s cleavage on The One Show.
