Netflix have made a game-changing move, announcing that their staff will be able to take one year fully-paid parental leave.
Netflix have the same 'unlimited leave' policy for new mums and new dads - a big step in the coorporate working world. This also applies to parents who have adopted.
Chief talent officer Tawny Cranz said of their parental leave: "We want employees to have the flexibility and confidence to balance the needs of their growing families without worrying about work or finances. Netflix's continued success hinges on us competing for and keeping the most talented individuals in their field.
"Experience shows people perform better at work when they're not worrying about home. This new policy, combined with our unlimited time off, allows employees to be supported during the changes in their lives and return to work more focused and dedicated."
Netflix also has an unlimited apprach to holiday days, letting staff choose how long they want to take off a year. But the question is, would you take more or less days off if given the option? Would you be more concerned about looking hard working, or securing five more days to lie on a sun lounger? Let us know on Twitter @Grazia_Live...
