So we all know that on Facebook and Twitter you can have multiple accounts running at the same time on the same phone - which is super useful if you have one accout for work and one for personal use, for instance (we can't just be about bizniz all of the time - amirite?).
Instagram, on the other hand, has been holding out on us - up until today there was no way to run to accounts on one phone without logging out of one, and logging into the other, which is tedious and means you need to remember a whole bunch of passwords. Well not any more! A a recent update Instagram have allowed some to have more than one account, and being able to switch between them easily! YAY!
The bad news? Only a few people have access to this new feature, which means it's being rolled out veeeery slowly or it's a test. That said it's apparently one of the most-requested updates to the app, so here's hoping it's the former. Here's how to find out if you've had the update
How to switch between multiple accounts on Instagram
If you have IOS then below is a step by step for what you will have to do:
1. On your Instagram profile page click on the ‘settings’ button in the top right hand corner.
2. Then scroll down to the bottom of the page and you may have the option to ‘add account’ (fingers crossed).
3. After adding another account, you will be able to switch between the accounts very easily - like so:
No more forgetting your password and having to log out of each account to access the other one. You will be able to access separate account comments and any photo feed, without logging out. Wooo!
