Two words – Epic Strut. If you don’t know what we’re talking about, you really need to, (Especially now there is a brand new advert). Ever since MoneySuperMarket’s‘Dave’ twerked his way on to our TV screens to the sounds of the Pussycat Dolls, we’ve been OBSESSED.
Not only does he rock those denim hot pants and nail that pout, but the way his bouncing bottom moves is mesmerising. After watching the advert about 785 times, we were desperate to know a little bit more about ‘Dave’. Is that his real bum? And where did he learn to dance like that?
Who is the actor who plays 'Dave' in the MoneySupermarket advert?
It turns out ‘Dave’ is actually a 28-year-old American actor called Michael Van Schoick, and he gave Grazia his first ever interview (not that we are bragging ofc). Speaking from LA, he told us it was his first ‘big role’. He said, ‘I played some “skirt roles” growing up, like Ruth Del Marco in Ruthless! [an all-female musical], and people told me how well I walked in heels and how great my calves looked, so I kept up the habit. It was a blast working in stilettos again!’

He tells us, ‘I was blessed with a naturally buxom behind, but unfortunately we did accentuate what nature gave me. There’s some prosthetic jiggly piece that went into my pants, but those sides are all mine!’
