The body of a missing Japanese woman was discovered by postal workers in Japan, after travelling 230 miles from Osaka in western Japan to Hachioji, a city in greater Tokyo.

Rika Okada, 29, went missing in March after posting on her Facebook page that she was en route to meet an old friend she hadn’t seen in 10 years, reports The Guardian.

The box containing Rika’s body was in a storage locker and was shipped using her name. The locker was paid for with her own credit card.

After she went missing, a 29-year-old woman she attended primary school with reportedly entered China with Rika's passport and is currently in jail there. Japanese police have asked China to hand her over to them. The unidentified woman lived close to the storage locker where the body was found

Police say that Rika was stabbed over 12 times.
