Mexican Singer's Santiary Pad Falls Out On Stage, Recovers Like A Champ

In terms of the most embarassing things that can ever happen to you, being on live TV when your sanitary towel falls out is pretty high up there, right? Well, on the off chance that that does ever happen to you, look to Patricia Navidad for inspiration.

The Mexican singer was performing on Despierta America – a bit like our version of *This Morning – *when her sanitary pad fell out onto the stage. Being a pro, Patricia decided that rather than freak the hell out, run off stage, book a one-way ticket to Alaska and live out the rest of her days living off the grid and making friends with bears, she’d just carry on singing. Which she did, without missing a beat.

Obviously, because people are douchebags and because this is a world where any douchebag is allowed a Twitter account, Patricia started getting hate from yep, you guessed it, douchebags. Again, rather than shy away, she took the trolls on.

‘What a pity that there are men who are here they forget that they’re here because of a women and are still offensive and vulgar against women !!!’, the singer wrote on Twitter (and don’t worry, we’ve used only the most high-tech translation skills to bring this to you in English – thanks Google Translate).

‘They say a man who treats women as princess has been raised by a queen, those who attack and offend , who educated them ?? It is not even embarrassing, nor something to be ashamed about but when judged, you forget that you’re not who you say you are!!’

Then she went on to say that she’s not a boxer, she’s a warrior, and she’s not going to throw in the ‘towel’ – unless she doesn’t need it any more!

So, there you go kids, thanks to our terrible Spanish, and Patricia’s boss-like awesomeness, have a free lesson in overcoming embarassment like a Queen.
