In annoying/annoyingly cute news a ten-year-old who gave a TED talk all about how you can go to college classes aged nine has graduated from high school.

Tanishq Abraham, from Sacramento, California, has finished his high school exams and is also finishing his associate’s degree from American River College. Once he’s done there, he’ll go to the University of California at Davis, Reuters reports.

He’s been studying for high school from home, FYI – high school is a difficult place enough for actual teenagers, it probably isn’t the place for a pre-teen to be hanging out.

Tanishq, whose parents taught him biology, chemistry, calculus and trigonometry, has been a member of Mensa since he was just four years old.

It’s not exactly easy being so smart, though: ‘The way my brain works is that when you give me something, information about that topic comes into my mind.’ ‘I don’t know what it is, but that’s how it is for me,' he told KXTV.

Obviously, being a genius and all, he’s not going to let his genius go to waste, so plans to be President one day. If you’re interested in the mind of the boy who, aged under 10, helped his geology professor deliver a lecture, check out this TED talk video he’s done.

Cute and inspirational, right?
