If we had to pick just two movies/shows to bring back it would be Mean Girls and Friends. We've accepted that we need to stop trying to make these happen, as Regina would say, they're not going to happen.
BUT the universe has given us the next best thing - Rachel Green aka Jennifer Aniston in the spin-off Mean Moms. She will play a mom, duh. Can we get a fetch?!
According to Deadline, Jennifer Aniston is in talks star in this spin off which takes the girl-world politics of North Shore High School to the PTA committee.
It's based on a book written by Rosalind Wiseman, the author who also inspired Mean Girls. According to Deadline it is about 'a happily married smother of two moves from small-town America to the high-class suburbs suddenly must confront the cutthroat world of competitive parenting.'
We can file this under news we pray is true, as Aniston hasn't signed on the dotted line, yet. But we're hoping she plays the Regina George character aka not the regular mom, the cool mom.
