Man In Relationship Asks Club To Remove Photo With Ex, Club Has Brilliant Response

A photo worth £10,000 and a packet of Haribo

I guess we’ve all been there, off our trollies on a high of jagermeister and Calvin Harris in a generic nightclub club, only to be caught unawares by the crafty club-cam man who catches us mid-cartwheel across the dance floor, only for said incriminating photo to be uploaded to the nightclub’s Facebook page the following morning so your so-call besties can tag you in it.

Some might say it wasn’t my finest moment, but it ended up as just another one of those pictures you quietly un-tag a couple of days later and everyone moves on with their lives and forgets about your spectacular drunken cartwheel. No biggy.

Unfortunately for one guy though, his photographed incident on a night out was far more incriminating and a bit more of a pain to get rid of.

The man, who’s name has been kept hidden, (you’ll totally understand why in a sec) sent a Facebook message to Bolton’s Level Nightclub, asking them to remove a photo they uploaded, because he didn’t want his current girlfriend to see it. But what could the photo possibly be of for him to so desperately want to hide it from his other half, you ask? Him with his ex-girlfriend. Yeah, we can hear the collective facepalms.

He wrote: ‘Hi, I’m gonna be honest, got a bit messy last nite and you’ve took this photo of me wit my ex bird [sic]. If ma current bird sees it she’ll physically hospitalize me please please please can ya delete it asap. Cheers’

Okay so we don’t necessarily know what this guy had been doing with his ex-girlfriend, or that anything actually happened, but you have to admit, the situation does NOT look good. Let alone his god-awful grammar and use of the word 'bird'. Not cool at all.

Quite reasonably so, the club initially asked him for £10,000 and a packet of Haribo Tangfastics. Obviously, the guy panicked and pleaded, so the club said they were just kidding and took the photo down. That is, before they proceeded to share the conversation on Twitter and Facebook, because what else are you meant to do in that situation?

Well played Levels.
