A Reddit user came up with the best wedding present gift idea ever. Duffmanszolotothings (hello mouthful) decided to get creative when coming up with the ultimate wedding gift idea for his wife, who FYI is a Harry Potter obsessive.
I nstead of the standard gift, he gave his wife a real-life Pensieve. Yes, we are talking a Harry Potter themed basin where you can look down on your own memories from a different perspective. He made that. He also took a pottery class so he could hand-make the basin for the memories to sit in. He also inscribed his and his wife’s initials are in the bottom.
Then he made her a wand, and filled teeny tiny glass bottles with memories they had shared together. So his wife could pick up the little bottles with messages, he put magnets on the bottle of the bottles and then a magnet on the wand. Basically so instead of having to use her hands, she could pick them up with 'magic.' Clever, huh. Oh and chucked in some empty bottles for any new memories.
