Potentially looking for a new job? Well you're in luck. The biggest careers focused social-networking site, LinkedIn, have crunched the numbers and come up wih a list of their top 20 companies to work for in 2017.
Now with 500 million users worldwide, there was serious amount of data to look at. The methodology for assembling the list looked at 3 factors: job applications, engagement and retention. Job applications assesed the rate at which people viewed and applied for jobs whereas engagement analysed data around how many non-employers we're connecting with company page, page views and reach of content. Retention focused on how long employers stayed at the comany.
Coming in on top in the UK was the John Lewis Partnership (which includes Waitrose) closely followed by ASOS, Arcadia (home of Topshop, Miss Selfridge and more), and Harrods.
