She may only be 15 but Lily-Rose Depp is already carving out a career to rival her famous father’s.

As well as making waves in the fashion world with her striking look, Lily is getting her foot in the door in Hollywood. She has an upcoming role in Kevin Smith action-comedy Yoga Hosers and has now landed her most major movie yet.

The daughter of Johnny Depp and Vanessa Paradis is set to star opposite Natalie Portman in ghost story Planetarium. The pair will play sisters in the 1930s set drama that is being directed by Rebecca Zlotowski. Plot details are bing kept strictly under wraps but Zlotowski told Variety:

“The film follows the journey of sisters who are believed to possess the supernatural ability to connect with ghosts. They cross paths with a visionary French prodcuer while performing in Paris.

The political context of “Planetarium” will have a modern resonance with the current crisis and rise of extremism in Europe. The character of the producer is freely inspired by Jewish producer Bernard Natan, one of the biggest French film industry figures of the ’20s and ’30s, who eventually died in Auschwitz”

Filming will begin in Paris in September and is expected to be in cinemas for May 2016.

This will be the first time Portman has teamed up with a French director since her role in Luc Besson’s* Leon* in 1994 and the actress has apparently been working on her French to prepare for the role. Lily-Rose and her family used to live in France so maybe she can give her new co-star some tips?
