Move over Kimmy K, Intan Azzahra is the proud owner of the most Insta-liked wedding dress ever.
The dress, designed by Ivan Gunawan for the Indonesian bride's wedding in March, has clocked up over 304,000 likes and counting.
Though it would be fair to describe it as ‘Disney-esque’, the silhouette is surprisingly simple — kind of. The top has an illusion high neck and long sleeves, and the full skirt has scalloped pearl detailing (that’s surely been inspired by Cinderella’s ballgown… You remember it, right?).
Intan worked with the 'you can never have too much of a good thing' trail of aesthetic thought, accessorising the gown with a crown, a beehive and blingy drop earrings.
It was a fittingly fancy wedding — complete with a groom in a Disney Prince suit (with a sash, obviously), fake castles, fake buildings, fake window frames, a massive cake and more flowers than you’ve ever seen. A bit like if Kim and Kanye went on My Super Sweet 16.
Unsurprisingly the dress has split opinion on Instagram. While some people have suggested tweaks, the majority is wowed by the intricate detailing.
Intan’s second dress of the day was no less wow. While her groom, Zendhy Zaen, changed into a red suit, the bride went for a Hengki Kawilarang Couture design — red, full, feathered, with a buttoned back and a 3D butterfly on the shoulder.
All in all, a wedding to remember...
