Abby Tomlinson is the 17-year-old leader of the Milifans – remember, the loosely organised group of barely-able-to-vote young women who just wanted Ed Miliband to be seen in a kinder light?
Anyway, she’s had some trolls in her time, and most recently, decided to report a troll to his school. When she’d been talking about David Cameron and the pig, he’d replied: ‘There’s nothing wrong with having sex with a pig, just ask your boyfriend.’
He’d also tweeted other users with the alluring: ‘The idea was to make the boy – who’d tweeted her saying ‘There’s nothing wrong with having sex with a pig, just ask your boyfriend.’
Abby – smart thing that she is – managed to track down the boy’s school and told them what he’d done. They’re now investigating.
Meanwhile, The Sun’s PR decided to wonder why the Huffington Post might have joined in on jokes about David Cameron and the pig but supported Abby’s anti-troll action.
However, Abby soon schooled him, explaining that as much as he might hate trolling, The Sun employs (well, at least it did until today, when it was announced that she’d be going over to the Mail Online) Katie Hopkins and Louise Mensch. We don’t need to explain what’s wrong about Katie Hopkins. As for Louise Mensch, she spent a great whack of time going out of her way to be mean to Abby online.
Oh, and Dylan himself once tweeted photos of topless women to Harriet Harman and broadcaster Kay Burley to make some sort of point about Page 3 being a nice big lol.
Dylan’s ignored the rest of the exchange but it’s fair to say Abby won that round…
