By now we've seen enough fan theories, Reddit threads and then of course - actual Kit Harrington near the set of Game of Thrones, to hedge our bets that Jon Snow is in fact returning after a brush with death. And another clue pointing to his rise from the ashes comes from HBO itself.

The show's creators released a teaser poster for the 6th series on Twitter featuring Jon Snow. While the network previously claimed Snow was "deader than dead" - after all, he was stabbed by his former Night's Watch comrade - he looks very much alive in this snap, albeit with an injury to the head.

We assume this is their declaration that he's back. Bring on series six.

Kit Harington has dropped the biggest hint yet that he's going to be in the next series of Game Of Thrones. Despite his character Jon Snow appearing to be 'killed off' at the end of the last season, Kit has since been spotted in Belfast where his former GoT colleagues are currently doing a read-through of the next season.

And now Harrington has given an interview to Belgian magazine Humo, which a Reddit user has translated as seeming to confirm that he is returning to the hit HBO show.

Apparently he told the magazine: "Game of Thrones will remain a part of my life for a while. I'll probably be in my 30s when it's over."

"The important thing is that I now know exactly how long I am still under contract," he added.

While these quotes aren't an exact confirmation that he's returning to the show, they do seem to hint that he could be coming back. The question is how - and when?

As fans of the show will know, Jon Snow was killed off in the final episode - or so we thought. The creators may have claimed Snow was "deader than dead" - after all, he was stabbed by his former Night's Watch comrades. But since then there have been hints that he might be making a return in Season 6.

Firstly, the actress that plays Melisandre, aka Carice van Houten, said at Comic Con that "he can't be dead. No!", while Emilia Clarke (Daenerys) said "maybe there's a chance" in another interview.

But then we had the strongest hints of all - Kit Harington has been spotted arriving in Belfast, where his former GoT colleagues are currently doing a read-through of the next season. Not only that, Kit was on his flight with Tom Wlaschiha, who plays Jaquen H'ghar on the show.

Kit was also still sporting his long locks, a condition which show producers famously had written into his contract for the show so he wouldn't lop them off.

So what does all this mean? Kit has been very frank about the fact he is not coming back, revealing in an interview: "I have never been told the future of things in this show, but this is the one time I have. They sat me down and said: "This is how it is"...I'm dead. I'm not coming back next season, So that's all I can tell you, really".

We'll be keeping our eyes peeled for more clues - for now, we'll just have to assume he's in Belfast to hang out with his old castmates.
