Back in 2013, amid protests against anti-abortion laws, one poster stood out: 'Jesus Isn't A Dick So Keep Him Out Of My Vagina', mainly because it's borderline genius. The girl holding it (Tuesday Cain) standing next to her dad (Billy Cain), was 14 years old back then and was immediately subject to an avalanche of abuse. Two years on, and the reddit podcast Upvoted have just revisited the story, and it turns out that Tuesday has the coolest (and most social media savvy) dad ever.

Covering the history of Texas’ SB5, Senator Wendy Davis’ filibuster, the intense social media backlash, and how the family stood up for their beliefs in the face of death threats, turns out that Billy basically took control of his daughter's wellbeing - responding to Twitter threats himself, and acting as a guardian of abuse (talking of guardians, check out his fiercely articulate piece on The Guardian). 'He was staying up late and waking up early,' says Tuesday, about her dad. 'The entire day he'd have either his phone or his computer and he'd be typing and typing and typing and saying "Why do you think my daughter's a whore? Totally go ahead and email me!"'

Amid Twitter trolls saying stuff like 'really. somebody. smack this bitch. NOW. [sic]' and 'If she keeps all dicks out of her vagina, the point will be moot for her' (just to reiterate, Tuesday was 14 years old at this point).

'I've been on the internet for a long time, I thought I'm just gonna get on and not give anyone the satisfaction of trying to track me down and track her down,' says Billy. 'So I'm going to come at this with full transparency - on every site I found the picture, I'd put my name, email address, and asked anyone who had any questions to go ahead and ask me.'

Seriously, this is one cool family, and it's a really inspiring story- have a listen on your way home from work
