We can think of few nicer ways to spend a Wednesday evening than sipping Champagne at the top of the Shard with one of the original ‘supers’ Cindy Crawford, which is exactly what we did last night as Omega threw a party in honour of the opening of their new Oxford Street store.

The stunning model spent the evening chin wagging with Eddie Redmayne and Jessica Ennis at the bash which included a performance from the ever amazing Chrissie Hynde.

We spoke to Jessica, who gave birth to her first child – a boy named Reggie – in July, who told us about how she has just started training again: ‘Being a mum is amazing – he’s great.

‘I’ve just started back training and finding it really tough – I’m a long way off where I was when I fell pregnant so it’s going to take time. I’m still up two or three times a night doing night feeds so I can’t have a hangover at all.

Jessica is a track athlete best known for her Olympic 2012 performance, winning a total of four gold medals.

She said: ‘I have the Championships next summer but I’m really focused on getting to Rio 2016. It’ll be hard to top London 2012 – that was an incredible experience – but this is my next challenge.’

Jessica also opened up about speaking out against convicted rapist Ched Evans. Jessica told Sheffield United that she wanted her name removed from their stands (she was honoured by the club after her Olympic success) if Evans was to return to the club.

‘It was a really difficult decision and I know not everyone agrees with me but I had to do what I thought was right,’ she said.
