Jeremy Corbyn fans now not only have their own Christmas anthem but a uniform to go with it, with the release of his very own ‘Jerry Christmas’ jumper.
Designed and produced in the UK by Notjust, the unisex ‘Corbs’ jumper features the man himself, adorned in roses and a Santa hat. It comes in a small, medium, large, and extra large and, staying true to Corbyn’s wannabe vegan sensibilities, the jumper is 50% cotton, 50% acrylic. As an added bonus, Notjust have pledged to donate 50% of the profits to a charity set to be announced next month, meaning Jeremy and his vegan pals really can go guilt-free this December.

The news follows Collins Dictionary’s announcement that ‘Corbynmania’ – defined as ‘fervent enthusiasm for Jeremy Corbyn’ – is one of 2017’s words of the year. From creating a frenzy over his Glastonbury appearance to making ‘Oh, Jeremy Corbyn’ (to the tune of White Stripes’ ‘Seven Nation Army’) the Guardian’s 'unofficial summer anthem', Corbynites have gained a reputation for being dedicated, millennial supporters.
Now that they can embrace festive Corbynmania for just £35, they should be warned that this jumper is for the few, not the many. It's limited edition, with only 250 currently on sale and expected to sell out quickly.
Fortunately, the brand has promised that there are two more topical designs in works to ‘tickle your family and friends’. So here’s hoping Jeremy and co have a whole range to choose from for this year’s Christmas Jumper Day.
