Jennifer Lawrence turned 25 earlier this month and we were yet to hear of any blowout celebrations to ring in the quarter of a century milestone, until this weekend, that is. But err, she didn't celebrate quite as you'd expect - she partied with Kris Jenner, ending her night in bed with the momager and a pile of books. We kid you not.
Kris's boyfriend Corey Gamble snapped the pair entangled in bed and Kris shared what is probably the most random celebrity photo we've ever witnessed to Instagram, captioning it: "Happy Birthday you piece of s**t... God I love you #Jenniferlawrence thanks for making this night a night to remember.....even if we did get caught... I love you Happy Birthday Gorgeous!!! #Bible #momager #doll. Firstly: who knew these two were friends? Secondly: what's with the bedtime reading? Kris is clutching The Plague by Albert Camus, while Jen has Joan Didian's Play It As It Lays in her hands, which begs the question: are these two members of a very exclusive late night book club?!
Kris is a popular confidante of fellow young Hollywood stars like Justin Bieber, but we're still perplexed by how and when this friendship begun.
However, Jen's made no secret of her Keeping Up With The Kardashians obsession - back in January Kim revealed how she'd told her she's a hardcore fan. "I was in NYC and I ran into Jennifer Lawrence," Kim told The Sun. "We said, 'Hi' and walked into the elevator and as the doors were closing. She screamed across the lobby, 'I love your show!' We were laughing so hard." So perhaps, the rest, as they say, is history. We guess everyone needs a momager sometimes.
