A teenage Russian model has been stabbed to death, allegedly by her older sister in a horrific, 'drug fuelled' attack.
Stefania Dubrovina, 17, is reported to have been stabbed by her own sister Elizaveta, 19, over 140 times. Elizaveta is also said to have gouged Stefania's eyes out and hacked off her sister's ears while the two were partying with a 42-year-old photographer in his apartment.
The Daily Mail reports that a police source told a Russian newspaper that the three of them had 'had a great party' but when the photgrapher went out to get more alcohol, Elizaveta attacked her sister.
Russian newspapers are being said to report that Elizaveta was 'envious' of Stefania and that she 'copied the image of her younger sister - the same hair colour, the same lipstick.' According to the same report, 'There are photographs of both sisters hugging each other, but there is no doubt that the elser sister envied the younger one.'
Newpapers have also stated that Elizaveta had spent time in a mental hospital and one of her friends claimed that she was 'a bit crazy'.
The girls were brought up in an orphanage and their aunt Ekaterina Dubrovina called Stefania's death a 'shocking tragedy.' She said, 'My blood turns to ice. These poor children are not guilty in their gruesome childhood and in all their unhappy life which unfortunately ended for Stefania.'
