What do Olympians do when they come to Rio de Janeiro for the 2016 Olympic Game? ‘Training really hard to win the gold medal.' Right? Probably. But also: Playing loads of Pokémon GO.

Case in pointL Japanese gymnast Kohei Uchimura (2008 Olympics silver medallist) who has racked up a $5000 (approx £3800) data roaming bill after playing the game extensively in Rio. You'd hope he'd have caught a whole bunch of Pokémon for that much money, but actually no. The game is not yet available in Brazil, meaning there are no Pokémon’s out there. Ouch.

Anyways, don’t feel too sorry for him. Apparently the cell phone company didn’t make him actually pay it. They exchanged his transfer plan to a one when he pays $30 a day for unlimited roaming. So he's basically now on a far better data roaming plan too. So win/win, really.
