How frustrating is it when you’re happily editing a photo on Instagram, you’ve got the brightness nailed, the saturation is just right, and then you go to write the caption but crap…what’s the handle you’re meant to be tagging again? FFS you forgot and now you have to go back, find it, ruin all your hard work and do all the edits again.
If the above pisses you off massively, you're in luck. The Instagram team are working on a way to save posts for later, by testing a new drafts feature that means you can save whatever edits you’ve already done, to finish later. Merci Instagram, merci.
It hasn’t been rolled out to everyone yet, but apparently Instagram will prompt users to save a photo they've already edited if they decide to hit the back button. The saved images will then be show separately from other photos when re-opening the app to post.
It’s not certain if it will become an official update, yet. With Instagram telling Mashable: ‘we’re always testing new ways to improve the Instagram experience – but given how useful the feature is, don’t be surprised if it makes its way to the app in a future update.’
Ermmm Insta, it is very useful and we would very much so like to see it become an official update, please and thanks kbye.
