There's just one *tiny* problem though...

Remember a few years back when the internet was all excited about those wireless charging pads that you could put your phone on to charge with no plugging in required? Not entirely sure what happened to them because that seems like a great idea, although who knows, maybe they were like £200 a pop in which case we'll stick to our old-fashioned plug 'n' wire devices thanks.

Now though, the clever chaps and chapettes over at IKEA have come up with furniture that charges your phone just by placing it on top of it. The Home Smart range, that's going to come out in America next month, is made up of lights, tables and pads that, when plugged in, will give your phone a (almost definitely needed) battery boost. Plus, the range looks ace too.

The problem is though that, while this is all very excellent - the range will only charge phones that are Qi compatible and while this does include over 80 different handsets, the iPhone is not one of them, although there are special cases that Apple users can buy to make their phones compatible.

Basically the phone charging bedside table is the ultimate antitdote to drunk you either forgetting to charge your phone and/or drunkenly tripping over wires and smashing your phone on the ground.
