Nikki Reed Finally Shares Photos Of Her Stunning Lace Wedding Gown

Nikki Reed and Ian Somerholder were keen to keep their big day a private affair when they wed back in April, with just a few long-lens shots of the pair leaked on social media. But now we have a closer glimpse of the newly married couple's nuptials as they've shared their wedding photos with BRIDES.

The magazine's October issue features shots of Nikki's bouquet, the couple's wedding rings, their stunning three-tiered red velvet wedding cake, and what we'd all be waiting to see - close-ups of Nikki's lace, sheer-sleeve Claire Pettibone bridal gown, as well as stunning shots of Ian carrying Nikki over the threshold in his custom Nedo Bellucci suit.

In the mag, the former Twilight actress also reveals how they managed to keep the wedding so secret. Apparently, the pair invited family and friends over for a housewarming party, before hitting them with the news they were flying everyone off to Topanga Canyon for a wedding. "We didn't want our loved ones to show up with any expectations or squeezed into formal attire," Nikki explained. We bet they were suitably surprised!

The snaps give us a glimpse of the vamp-tastic wedding and show the couple looking super loved-up. And, most excitingly, we've got a look at the 26-year-old bride - who was previously married to singer-songwriter Paul McDonald - wearing a stunning long-sleeved lace gown with a low-cut back.

As for the hunky Vampire Diaries actor, he donned a dapper white suit and can be seen taking pictures of his new bride.

Ian appeared to confirm the news by taking to his Twitter account to gush about the big day. He wrote: "most beautiful morning ever... (sic)".

The star also revealed that he and the Twilight actress - who got engaged in January after six months of dating - had been working out in preparation for the special occasion after posting a picture of them both lifting weights on Instagram last week.

The pair have certainly won the seal of approval from Ian's Vampire Diaries co-star, Kat Graham. "I haven't met two people that were more of soul mates than those guys," she said. "They are so absolutely amazing. Everyone loves them, and I really can't imagine him with anyone else.”
