Harry Potter's Privet Drive Home Is For Sale For A £475,000

Got a spare £475,000? Cool. Lucky you. Fancy buying Harry Potter’s humble abode on Privet Drive? GREAT. Because it’s for sale for £475,000.

The original house is a three-bed in Bracknell, Berkshire (obviously not on actual Privet Drive) and was chosen in 2001 to be the home of Harry Potter’s positively lovely Aunt Petunia’s and and Uncle Vernon, and where Harry lived out his days pre Hogwarts in that tiny cupboard under the stairs. So if you fancied feeling close to Daniel Radcliffe you could take a nap in there.

The house was last sold in May 2010 for £290,000, and according to the listing is: ‘situated in a quiet cul-de-sac location.’ It has three bedrooms, and a master bedroom complete with en-suit, so if you fancy living out your days pretending you’re an extra in Harry Potter, this might be the place for you. To Berkshire we go.
