It’s been five years since we waved goodbye to the wizarding world after the release of the final film, Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows: Part Two. Yet, now the magic continues as London’s Palace Theatre is left spellbound (sorry, couldn’t help it!) by Harry Potter and The Cursed Child: Part One.

The play, which is split in two parts, sold out in 24 hours with resale tickets selling for more than £2,200 and is attracting fans from all over the world. Susanna Pilny, from Rhode Island, told The Guardian she was 'something like twelve hundredth in line,' when she ordered hers. Some fans were not as lucky, one family from the Philippines queued for hours after planning their trip to the UK around the preview, but were unable to get tickets on the door.

Set 19 years on from the last book, the play follows our favoite wizarding companions, with Harry now working at the Ministry of Magic. However, the focus is now on the next gen of Hogwarts students, including Harry’s son Albus, Ron and Herminone’s daughter, Rose and Malfoy’s son, Scorpius.

Despite a minor glitch with an owl on the loose in the first half - only at Hogwarts! It seemed the play went down a treat as audience members were left 'amazed' by the performance, some even claiming it was the best they had ever seen.

But, that’s all we can tell you. We're sworn to secrecy. The audience were given badges urging them to ‘Keep The Secrets’ in an attempt to stop plot leaks. Although, we have a feeling it’s going to take some serious witchcraft (last one, I promise) to stop the Cursed Child spoilers.
