Google knows every single little thing you have ever searched since it first launched 18-years-ago on September 4th. Frantically sat there at your desk trying to figure out how? Don’t even go there, save it till you get home at least. The history is probably not safe for work and your boss does not want to see.

According to Digital Spy, Google records all the searches you ever make on every single device you ever use. So no, there is no way of hiding. Ever. If you would like to see all your recorded searches, there is a way.

How can I delete all my Google history?

Go to history.google.com/history, if you dare. I didn’t dare. This page display every single search you’ve ever made along with a date and time.

Can I download my entire Google history?

Yes, yes you can also download your entire history, if having it on your computer screen isn’t enough. Just click on the ‘Web & App Activity’ page and on the top right hand corner, click ‘Menu,’ then ‘Download searches.’ Once you’ve done that, pick ‘Create Archive’and your download will begin. You’ll get an email confirmation with a link to all your searches when it’s done.

Can I stop Google saving my Google history?

If this is all a bit too much for you and the thought of Google recording all your late night ‘how to lose weight in a week’ searches, there is a way to turn it off. Click on the ‘details’ tab under your past search and you’ll be greeting with a pop-up window. This pop-up window displays all the data for that search. There is also an ‘Activity Controls’ option, click on these and you can change what Google is tracking – just click on ‘Web & App Activity’ to switch off Google recorded searches.

Now you can breathe easy. Rest assured, your searches are for your eyes only.
