As if we weren't already excited enough about Paul Feig's all female Ghostbusters reboot, Chris Hemsworth has only gone and been cast as the receptionist!
The director announced the news on Twitter (this is 2015 afterall) yesterday by uploading a picture of the Hollywood hottie with the caption: "Our receptionist #whoyougonnacall."
Ever since it was announced the remake would include an all female cast, fans of the film have been speculating online as to whether or not the role of the receptionist would also recieve a gender swap. And with Chris on board it's clear the answer to that question is a beefed up, golden haired yes.
The receptionist was orginally played by Annie Potts, but it's nice to finally see a typically female role going to a male actor for a change.
The star of Thor will be joining Melissa McCartney, Kristen Wiig, Leslie Jones and Kate McKinnon, who will be taking over the roles portrayed by Bill Murrary, Dan Aykroyd, Harold Ramis and Ernie Hudson in the 1984 original version of the movie.
Production is due to start later this summer and we can expect to see* Ghostbusters* hitting our local cinemas next Summer.
