19 December 2014: George Clooney Takes A Downton Selfie
The cast of Downton Abbey has released a tantalising teaser of what we can expect - in the form of a group selfie with George taking pride of place next to Mrs Hughes.
Doesn't he look oh so debonair? Look at his arm stretched out inviting us in. Flanked by Tom Branson, played by Allen Leech and Mrs Hughes aka Phyllis Logan, George appears to fit right in at Downton.
In a first look video released by ITV we see Cora, The Duchess of Grantham approached George addressing him as 'darling' and telling him they've been invited to a dinner party.
The highly-anticipated clip will air tonight as part the Text Santa fundraiser on ITV. Laura Carmichael, who plays Lady Edith on the hit show recently gushed about working with George and she told a newspaper: 'He's completely gorgeous but also an incredible talent. His career is incredible. He's a very kind and brilliant man.'
We can't wait to tune in. Watch the taster below...
