Way back in 2000, then-emerging pop starlet Jennifer Lopez hit the red carpet at the 42nd Annual Grammy Awards wearing a dress that would change her life and put her on the fashion map as one of the hottest (and most stylish) bodies in the biz. Yes, we're talking about that green, tropical-print Versace dress which shot her into super-stardom. And now it's back! Well, kind of. the songstress has reworked the iconic outfit into a snazzy jumpsuit for new single “I Luv Ya Papi”.

Throughout the music video, Lopez wears a number of looks that are pretty obvious reflections of her own personal style from the course of her pop-tastic career - think double denim, oversized gold hoop earrings, sporty tracksuits... totally Jenny From The Block Chic.

But it's the opening scene that's really caught the world's attention and sent us hurtling back to the Noughties thanks to that Versace ensemble. The neckline is still slashed to the navel, but this time it's in the form of a figure-hugging jumpsuit drenched in medallions and jewels. To complete the look, the star has even styled her hair in the same half-up voluminous ‘do from the 2000 Grammys. Coincidence? We think not.

When asked about paying homage to her old outfits, Jennifer reveals 'we didn’t really even plan that'. Really? 'It wasn’t like, ‘go get the outfit made!’ The stylist just bought it on the rack and I saw it and I was like, “What’s the jungle print doing there?” You know, that’s called the Versace jungle print – and I was like, “what is that?” And she was like, “No, that’s in the stores right now.” So crazy! We’re doing a rap video type of thing, that might be great, you know what I mean? So it just kind of worked out.”

Well, we certainly think so - there's nothing quite like a tropical throwback. We're also loving that the video stars a LOT of naked men on yachts. Go, go, J-Lo!
