Facebook Knows More About Us Than We Thought...

So, when we all signed up to Facebook we were all pretty much aware that we were signing over some key pieces of personal info. Namely our age, location, workplace...stuff we wouldn't mind sharing with most people. The *Washington Post, *however, have just released a complete report on everything that Facebook is finding out about you without you knowing - and it's pretty terrifying. Because you are always logged into Facebook in another tab (well, most people are), the site can gather information from the other windows you have open. So if you're looking through Topshop, or for a home, or buying pregnancy tests...Mark Zuckerberg *knows. *Even when you're logged out, Facebook is alerted every time you load a page with a “Like” or “share” button.

*Facebook claims that they're only using this information to target ads at you, and that there are limits to how they can use it - but it's pretty invasive nonetheless. You can find a complete list of these information points below:

It's probably quicker to just hand your passport, journal, and the keys to your car over to Mark Zuckerberg and be done with it.
