This weekend Elton John officially married his long-time partner David Furnish, at a Damien Hirst altar at their estate in Windsor. They had quite the gueslist with the Beckham family, Hugh Grant, Elizabeth Hurley, David Walliams and Lara Stone and Ed Sheeran.

Instagram etiquette at weddings is now a tricky area, is it really ok to be an iPap as your friend says 'I do'? But Elton and David encouraged their guests to share pictures with the hashtag #ShareTheLove. Elton John joined Instagram especially for the ceremony, posting several pictures from inside the event. Without him we wouldn't have known they had wild mushroom soup as a starter.

Thanks to Elton we also know that their two sons Zachary, three, and 23-month-old Elijah were ring bearers with the gold bands fastened onto adorable cuddly rabbits. We also got a look at their personalised cake, the menu (hello warm chocolate pudding) and the congratulations cards they received. Brooklyn Beckham was also posting pictures from inside the ceremony, including a snap with VB and an arty shot of the Beckham's place settings.
