Our friends and our friendships can easily define our 20s. Whether we're single or in a relationship, living ina damp eight-person houseshare or still crashing with your parents. And in your 20s, the opportunity to make new, formative friendships are everywhere - from uni to that aforemenioned damp houseshare, to your first job, where you bond with your fellow intern when you realise you're the only two people crying in the stationery cupboard at eight o'clock at night. But friendships can also be messy, complicated and tricky to negotiate. They're not always photogenic, they're not always Instagramble, and let's be real, our most challenging and rewarding friendshipsare about as far away from Taylor Swifts #squadgoals as you can get.
So how do you convey the complexities, and utter brilliance of 20-something friendship in an illustration? We want to know because it's Friendship Day on 30th July and we'd love to see how you celebrate your best mates with an illustration on the theme Friendship In Your 20s - interpret that however you like.
Your illustration can be in any medium from a pencil drawing to a collage and everything in between, so get creative. We'll be running a gallery of the shortlist and winner on the site and across our social media channels on Friendship Day, and the winner will receive a framed print of their illustration too.
