Boris And Dilyn Johnson Put On A Show For The Cameras

And it's a little bit creepy...

Boris Johnson

This morning Boris Johnson stepped out of Methodist Hall polling station after casting his vote, accompanied by his dog, Dilyn Johnson. The two were photographed canoodling for the cameras, in a final and dismal attempt to win the people of Britain over... Not only do we have to deal with the rising anxiety as we await the outcome, we have to watch this uncomfortable PDA.

It’s a pretty stressful day for most far and wide... Deciding what time to vote, before work or after work, trying to find your polling card (word to the wise – you don't actually need it), looking for a parking space etc. etc. But the one thing you don't need to worry about is getting a dog sitter for your beloved pooch, all K9 mammals are welcome.

But, just because today is a little grim (thanks Boris) that doesn’t mean we can’t sit and look at pictures of other (and better) dogs at polling stations, when we’re meant to be working, does it? A new hashtag including union-jack-dog-emoji has emerged on Twitter and we're so here for it. Allow us to introduce you to some of Grazia's favourite dogs at polling stations – #dogsatpollingstations. They're all doing their bit, using their voice and having a grand old time voting. Now go do the same.

2. Early bird catches the worm

3. Get the gang together #squad

4. Jeremy doesn't have a dog, so Luna is representing for Labour K9s

5. Vote, but make it festive

6. Been there, done that, got the turtle neck sweater
