He's already covered in meaningful inkings and now David Beckham has added yet another tribute tattoo to his collection.

The former footballer has had the number 99 etched onto his hand - a nod to the year he married wife Victoria, welcomed first son Brooklyn and a enjoyed a treble-winning season playing football at Manchester United.

David showed off his new tattoo on his Instagram page and wrote: '99 was a good year for me ...'

The tattoo enthusiast already has a number of tattoos paying tribute to his family. On his right hand he has the word Victoria, he has Brooklyn in a semi-circle at the bottom of his back, Romeo at the top in between his shoulder blades and Cruz mid way up his back. He also has Harper written on his left collarbone.

And while David might have been in a retrospective mood when he got the inking, 2015 is looking to be a great year for the former sportsman too.

As Grazia previously reported David is focusing on opening the first major league soccer team in Maimi. 'It's a key part of his future. He wants the team in place by 2018 but at the moment he’s finalising who the other owners are, and that structure, and that will dictate what kind of ground they’re moving on – which kind of players they can attract. That’s a big part of his business,' a source said.

And David is also set to appear on the big screen too - he's set to star in his BFF Guy Ritchie's new film The Man From U.N.C.L.E. The news came earlier this week after Victoria posted a picture of her husband to her Instagram page confirming his new acting appointment. David is also said to be starring in Guy's hotly anticipated flick King Arthur - although his exact role has not yet been confirmed.

As well as turning 40 back in May - celebrating with a lavish party with close family and friends in Morocco - David has already had a busy year on a philanthropic level too. In February David and UNICEF announced a collaboration to help children globally with his 7 Fund.

And if all that wasn't enough, as he juggles modelling for brands like H&M or fronting his whiskey label Haig, DB also seems to find time to enjoy being on daddy duty - doting on Harper or hanging out with his boys.

WHAT A GUY.
