Today in cute news: a police officer rescued a kitten took a photo of it then posted it on Instagram for the whole world to see. His Instagram handle is also @donutoperator but that’s a whole different story.
28-year-old body Garrett was working the late shift when he heard a small crying noise under a bin nearby. AND LOOK WHO IT WAS. He took this little bundle of fur back to the police station and decided to keep him, and call him squirt as soon as he arrived to his new home he let out a stream of yellow poo. Lovely.
This isn’t the first time Cody has rescued abandoned animals. His other cat, Toothless, was recused last year and he’s also saved a one-eyed puppy called Mike Wazowski. Our heaaaaarts. Basically, he isn’t just a cop, he's a hero. A real life hero, like the ones you see in Disney films but better because instead of saving princesses he saves pets.
His Instagram followers have even been dishing out marriage proposals and we can understand why. But he’s happy with his girlfriend so we’ll just crush on the photo of him with Squirt in private, for all you Debrief readers to see…
