Any first encounter with an ex is bound to be awkward. Knowing whether to smile, say hello or just brush it off can always be challenging. Not for Cody Simpson who recently shared a PLANE with his ex-girlfriend Gigi Hadid on their return from the Much Music Video Awards in Toronto.
The singer snap-chatted a photo of himself with and his supermodel ex-girlfriend sitting next to one another on their flight with the caption 'when u get seated next to ur ex on a plane.' We were surprised to see the pair together as they went to great lengths to avoid each other on the red carpet. Despite Gigi rocking a leather jacket with her name embossed on the back, the pair weren't spotted together at the event.
Any encounter with an ex is bound to be tricky, but when the whole world follows you it's going to be quite tough. This got us thinking about the many different awkward A-list ex encounters of the past.
