Want to see Carrie Bradshaw's brownstone IRL? Always dreamed of spending a summer on a California lifeguard stand like Marissa Cooper? Well getting across the pond just got a whole lot cheaper, as in the near future you may be able to fly stateside for just $69. That's FORTY FIVE POUNDS.

Norweigan Airlines have announced that they are hoping to sell one-way tickets to North America for under fifty quid. According to reports they hope to have these budget transatlantic flights available from 2017.

They estimate that it will add up to $300 for a round trip. If you are starting to imagine your Gossip Girl-esque trip to Manhattan, take a look at our TV-tastic guide to New York. In the words of Taylor Swift - it's been waiting for you.
