The on-demand food and drink service has teamed up with Veuve Clicquot to provide – yes – door-to-door champagne delivery to customers across London from today. Whether you’re celebrating with colleagues in the office or want to stage an impromptu Christmas party chez vous, Deliveroo’s couriers can bring you a chilled bottle of Veuve Clicquot’s Yellow Label Brut in just 20 minutes, costing £52.
And if you’ve had the panicked realisation that you’ve forgotten to get a gift for that family member, Deliveroo have laid on three gift options – the Mailbox Brut gift set (£61), Arrow Brut set (also £61) and the Rosé Retro Fridge set (£70).
Deliveroo launched its alcohol delivery service in June this year, but this is the first time that users have been able to order bubbles with just a few clicks of a mouse.
