Hold the phone! After months of rumours about their engagement Cameron Diaz and Benji Madden have only gone and got married. The couple tied the knot in front of close friends and family at the actress's home in Beverly Hills last night.
In a statement released to People magazine the couple said: 'We couldn't be happier to begin our new journey together surrounded by our closest family and friends.'
Nicole Richie - who is married to Benji's twin brother Joel Madden - Drew Barrymore, Samantha Ronson and Toni Collette were among the guests said to be at the celebrations held in a large marquee in the garden of Cameron's home.
Nicole and Benji's son Sparrow was said to be the ring bearer (can you imagine the cuteness) while Drew, Nicole, Cameron's sister Chimene and her assistant Jesse Lutz acted as Bridesmaids, according to Us Weekly.
Cameron, 42, and Benji, 35, enlisted the services of wedding planners Yifat Oren and Stefanie Cove and had flowers by The Velvet Garden, and it's likely they came on recommendation as they were all used when Drew married Will Kopelman in 2012.
The couple fuelled rumours they were planning to wed yesterday after staging a rehearsal dinner on Sunday and the intimate affair was attended by a small group of people in Beverly Hills.
Before dating Benji Cameron had enjoyed long term romances with Matt Dillon, Jared Leto, Justin Timberlake and Alex Rodriguez. Meanwhile Benji has previously romanced Sophia Monk, Paris Hilton and Eliza Doolittle.
