Are you trying to get a foot on the ladder in the music industry? Great stuff. Because we’ve got a totally ace opportunity to help you out.
Our very excellent sister site Go Think Big – the careers website especially for young people – are offering up 100 work experience opportunities to help out on a remix of Nile Rogers and CHIC’s infamous 1978 hit Le Freak. This time, including the brilliant Rudimental.
In case you need a reminder of Nile’s credentials, the disco legend is responsible for some of the world’s biggest tunes from some of the world’s biggest recording artists; from Sister Sledge to David Bowie, Madonna to Daft Punk. Get Lucky? That had a big old helping hand from him.
Now, Nile’s teamed up with GoThinkBig and Rudimental to remix his song Le Freak which he originally wrote after getting rejected from nightclub Studio 54. ‘I know the feeling of rejection from when I started out and for many young people it’s hard to get their first career break. That’s why I’ve joined forces with GoThinkBig to offer up opportunities to remix my most successful track, Le Freak and inspire young people across the UK to dream big,’ Nile told us.
Nile's looking for people to get involved as musicians, photographers, crew and producers – plus much more. To get involved, head over to GoThinkBig and apply now.
