Caitlyn Jenner’s Vanity Fair Cover Nearly Did Break The Internet

Another day, another report of the phenomenal impact Caitlyn Jenner’s public transition is having on the world. New statistics released yesterday have revealed that when Vanity Fair’s stunning Annie Leibovitz cover-shoot, unveiling Caitlyn to the world in June, first hit the Conde Nast website, it quadrupled the traffic to the site.

According to new data released the Unique Users visiting the site, rose from 4.3million to 15.4 million. This trumped the publication’s sister title, Glamour, who on the same day had the exclusive on Caitlyn’s step-daughter, Kim Kardashian’s second pregnancy with her husband Kanye West. Talk about ‘Breaking The Internet.’

There really is no stopping Caitlyn’s crusade. The first episode of her reality docuseries, I Am Cait following her transition, is due to air on E! this coming Sunday 26 July. But already the reviews are in, with the _New York Time_s heralding it ‘inspirational’.

‘Based on that first episode, “I Am Cait” smoothly extends the resounding success of Ms. Jenner’s public transformation and cultural crusade — it accomplishes its inspirational, educational and motivational goals,’ wrote the paper.

As Grazia Daily reported on Tuesday, Caitlyn this week rocketed into* US Vogue’*s 10 best-dressed women of the week, alongside Tilda Swinton and Olivia Polermo. Indeed, the fashion world have been uniting in their support of Caitlyn, with Donatella Versace – who dressed Caitlyn in a stunning white Atelier Versace gown for the ESPYs last week where she made an emotional acceptance speech for the Arthur Ashe Award For Courage – said, ‘Caitlyn’s speech was touching. Her words are relevant and she is an inspiration to the world and me. ‘
