After three years of extensive renovations, six apartments have just gone on sale at 7-9 Buckingham Gate, located a stone's throw away from the palace and boasting a view that looks out onto the Queen's official residence.
Given that the flats are located in what is possibly one of the most desirable areas of London, they come with a price tag to match: prices start at £4.35 million and range up to £18 million for a three bedroom penthouse apartment, as listed on Beauchamp Estates.
'The penthouse is a very special double-lateral residence and provides 5,189 square feet of luxurious living space over two floors, with features including three reception areas and a family kitchen / breakfast room on the lower floor, with a glamorous sculptural staircase sweeping up to the three VIP bedroom suites on the upper floor,' Marcus O'Brien of Beauchamp Estates told HouseBeautiful.co.uk. What's more, the interior of this particular apartment has been designed by David Collins Studio, who have previously worked with luxury clients like Alexander McQueen, Amanda Wakeley and Fortnum & Mason. The view and the post code aren't the only connection you'll share with the royals, either: the apartments are located in an impressive Grade II listed building known as The Buckingham, originally designed by Sir James Pennethorne, the architect who also designed Buckingham Palace's south wing.
