News that the UK is set to leave the European Union rocked the nation last week, as polls revealed a divide in opinions, with 52% voting leave and 48% voting to remain.

And the run-up to the EU Referendum dragged social media into political turmoil as Facebook shaming, ‘de-friending’ and ‘unfollowing’ inevitably took place.

With politics permeating our social circles, it comes as no surprise that sadly we all know someone who has voted out of their relationship over Brexit. And yes it's designed to cheer you up post-Brexit. As the site states, ‘What better way to recover than hooking up with someone who shares your sense of existential dread?’ Things seem better already, right?

Set up by ‘two ordinary voters who wanted to cheer everyone up after a dismal day’, the app will enable Remain voters to seek love again.

So if you’re single post-Brexit then you can donate to Remainder on Crowdfunder, as they need £5000 to launch the app. But don’t fret, as they’ve already received thousands of signups.

So here’s to finding someone who’ll really love EU and your political views (sorry).
