More news on Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner's split. Despite rumours from tabloids that Jennifer Garner was pregnant, it seems the couple are not getting back together.

Variety reports that the couple are putting their family home on the market - for $45 million. A real estate 'insider' told the website that the couple have 'quietly' tried to put the Pacific Palisades home up for sale.

Boasting three acres of land and situated down a paparazzi-proof driveway, the ranch-style residence was previously owned by Gregory Peck and overlooks Sullivan Canyon. The house also has a swimming pool, half-court basketball court, a subterranean guesthouse, an office, art studio, gym and eight bathrooms. Yep, eight.

Jen and Ben announced their divorce in June this year. Since then, the couple have been rocked by rumours that Ben cheated with the family nanny, although Ben denied the claims. And just this week, US OK! Magazine reported that Jennifer could be pregnant with her fourth child - because sources told the mag that the pair had "reconciled" and she, um wore a floaty top. Given LA's balmy climate lends itself well to boho blouses, we're tempted to think this is probably not actually happening.

Sad news from Hollywood - one day after their 10 year anniversary, Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner have confirmed in a statement that they are filing for divorce.

In a statement the couple said: “After much thought and careful consideration, we have made the difficult decision to divorce. We go forward with love and friendship for one another and a commitment to co-parenting our children whose privacy we ask to be respected during this difficult time.”

They added: "This will be our only comment on this private family matter. Thank you for understanding."

The couple married in June 2005 at a wedding in Turks and Caicos, after a two month engagement, and have three children together.

Garner said of their marriage last October: “You can’t expect to be courted all the time, and I don’t want to court him right now – I don’t have the energy. But we’re definitely in a very mindful place where we’re making an effort to be together, do things at the same time, and be loving.”

During his acceptance speech for Best Director for Argo in 2013 Affleck referenced working on their marriage. He said to his wife: “I want to thank you for working on our marriage for 10 Christmases. It’s good. It is work but the best kind of work and there’s no one I’d rather work with.”

Affleck then did a redo of his speech on Saturday Night Life saying: "I thanked my wife, while saying the essence of marriage is work. Some uncharitable souls on the Internet took that to mean our marriage is some kind of manual labor. That's not it. You define what's important to you by what you dedicate your time to."

He said to Jen: "I want to tell you how I wish I had ended that speech. I couldn’t do any of the things I do without you, without your support. You're my angel, my wife, my world."
